Nobody Designs for the Hours You're Actually Home

I'm going to say something that the fashion industry has been avoiding for decades:

Most of your life happens in clothes that no one takes seriously.

The hours between midnight and 7am. The Sunday afternoon when you're not going anywhere. The moment before you leave the house when you're still in the thing you slept in and you're drinking coffee and you feel fine, actually. Those hours exist. Nobody designs for them with any real conviction.

The Sleep Set is House Cardi's answer to that.

Two pieces. Long-sleeve top. Wide-leg pant. Cut for drape and real comfort — not the fake comfort of something that looks relaxed but pulls in all the wrong places. The fabric decisions were made around how a garment moves when you stop thinking about how you look. That's a different brief than anything else in fashion.

The art concepts were developed alongside the tech pack. Imagery of quiet rooms and good fabric and the particular quality of light at 6am when nothing is performing for anyone.

100 units. No restock. Part of the House Cardi five-drop limited rollout.

Rest is the luxury that people forget to design for. I didn't forget.
